Follow the link for the latest newsletter about the mid-year nuclear conference hosted by the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE).

Australia is going to have a responsible discussion about nuclear with the assistance of distinguished international guests. I hope to see some DSA followers there!

  1. Just reading about the Amber Zone of the Woomera restricted area
Mines like Prominent Hill have to duck for cover when the rockets are flying but Olympic Dam is just outside the zone. The Brits will be testing their supersonic drone at some stage; maybe they already have but it’s all hush hush.

Now you’d think an area that has large uranium deposits and restricted access would suit nuclear waste disposal in conjunction with a full nuclear fuel cycle within that region. My question is do the dots all join up? Evidently the political process says no.
